Looking to Buy HP Ink Cartridges? Read This FIRST.

Hewlett Packard (HP) is one of the reigning giants of the modern printing industry.  Their advanced printers and printing supplies have ruled the printer, ink and toner market for more than a decade. HP ink cartridges have set the bar high for quality printing at an affordable price. HP ink cartridges come in different colours. Modern HP inkjet printers let you replace only the colour you need so for example, if you run out of magenta you don’t need to replace the entire HP ink cartridge – just the colour magenta. HP also colour codes its ink cartridges and advices its consumers’ as to which cartridge will give them the best bang for their buck in respect to the kind of printing they need. For example: Blue is the regular capacity cartridge for occasional printing. Green is a high capacity ink cartridge for high volume printing Red is a high quality cartridge for special printing such as high quality photo printing. HP ink cartridges give you good yield but to save even more ink you can print in-house documents in draft or greyscale mode. Go Green and Save Money – Buy Cartridges from Reputable Suppliers

Sustainability and “environmental-friendly” are two words we see thrown around a lot lately today and is a key reason for our shop green option. In the corporate world, saving paper and trying your best to reduce your carbon footprint is highly encouraged. Many companies have programs in place that not only help the environment but also save costs and comply with the company budget. Organizations can focus on finding creative solutions for efficiently dealing with waste, improving the way office equipment works, cutting costs and some common sense practices that can make a huge difference. One of the first things companies can do is reduce waste. Most companies already have a “bin system” in place. This means having a separate bin for paper products that can be recycled and another bin for cans, glass and plastics. Simply throw your waste in the right bin and you have an in-house recycling setup that filters waste by type. Easy and efficient! One place companies can REALLY help the environment and cut costs is by controlling paper use and buying cost effective cartridges from reputable companies. Both are easier than you think. Simply reuse the unprinted side of scrap paper to make notes […]

Laser Ink Cartridges FINALLY Demystified!

Found this post while searching for laser ink? When our clients ask us for laser ink we find it amusing. Why? Simply because “laser ink” does not exist! If laser ink is a part of your office vocabulary, here’s what you need to know: 1)      Ink and toner are two VERY different products 2)      Laser printers and inkjet printers use totally different technologies 3)      Laser printers use “toner cartridges” and Inkjet printers use “ink cartridges” Correct phrases to use would be “laser toner” or “toner cartridges” for the laser printers and “inkjet cartridges” or “ink cartridges” for the inkjet printers.  “Laser ink” is actually very misleading. How did laser ink become a widely used phrase? Well, the truth is unsuspecting consumers’ use the term to search online and many online companies take advantage of this fact by labeling their ink or toner products as “laser ink.” This actually confuses consumers’ even more when deciding which cartridge to buy for their printer. For example, we’ve had people think that laser toners actually use “ink” like liquid ink that you find in inkjet cartridges, when in reality laser printers use a fine dry powder made from carbon mixed with a polymer that […]

Doing Your Homework BEFORE Buying Ink or Toner for Your Printer

Replacing printer ink or toner is one of the highest ongoing costs of having a printer, and those costs can get pretty high if you print a lot.   Fortunately, the introduction of lower cost alternatives to buying the OEM’s brand has helped to defray the costs. When shopping around for ink or toner,   there are a couple of questions to ask in regards to the cartridges the company sells: How thoroughly does the company inspect the cartridges before refilling? Do they check for cracks and other defects? Do they test the electrical parts of the cartridge and make sure that any used or worn parts are replaced? These questions are important because buying a printer cartridge that has just been refilled but not checked for quality could end up leaking ink all over the inside of your printer, making the costs saved in buying the cartridges useless when it just cost you your printer! Understand that there is a difference between remanufactured ink or toner cartridges and refilled cartridges.  With remanufactured ink or printer toner cartridges a good reputable company will check each cartridge in detail, making sure everything is fine with the existing cartridge, no cracks, no worn out […]
