Our Seven Steps To Success
1. Apply
The submission of your application is confidential and carries no obligation. This will enable us to assess your personal and business background, financial status and a location preference. Island Ink-Jet Systems Inc. will respond to you within a few days regarding your application. Once qualified, we will forward the required Federal / State / Provincial Disclosure Document for you to review.
top2. Investigate
We encourage you to do your homework and get to know us: thoroughly read the Disclosure information and all other materials. Contact existing Franchise Partners and Area Developers. You may be invited to attend a Discovery Session with various members of our team: use this opportunity to ask questions and find out as much as you need to about Island Ink-Jet.
Visit us at a local Island Ink-Jet Customer Service Center; and/or come to our International Franchise Support Centre (IFSC). Meet our team and tour our manufacturing, training, marketing and distribution facility.
top3. Respond
After you have received the Disclosure Information, read it over carefully and return the receipt via fax or email (this lets us know you’ve completed review of the disclosure document). Once you have considered all other materials for 14 days, completed your ‘due diligence’ and been ‘qualified’ with us; you are then positioned to become an Island Ink-Jet Franchise Partner. At this time you should be satisfied with your investigations. Once you sign the Franchise Agreement, we will require a $50,000 deposit enabling us to help you secure your Customer Service Center (CSC) location, to fabricate your CSC, complete all the legal agreements, schedule your training and manage all the other details.
top4. Execute
At the time of execution, and upon receipt of your deposit, we will begin preparation for manufacturing and installation of the CSC for opening day. Ten days prior to the time of commercial opening, the remaining payment of the franchise CSC (minus your deposit) will be paid to us in full.
top5. Learn
Now that you are an Island Ink-Jet Franchise Partner, you will attend our compulsory Training at the International Franchise Support Center (the IFSC) for two weeks of business and technical training. This training will support you to make the most of your success with your Island Ink-Jet location.
top6. Prepare
You will need to complete a business plan (check the resources on our website), procure your business license, tax ID, and arrange for phone lines, Internet, and other related issues. We will provide you with Initial Opening Promotion Guidelines and creative materials.
top7. Open
Your new business is now ready for opening, together with the launch of your Initial Opening Promotion. An installer will be present to set up your location during this opening period.
