Two Sure-Fire Ways to Save on HP #920 Y Ink Cartridges

In this post we’ll explore how you can save on the HP #920 Y ink cartridge. Today inkjet printers DO MORE than just print. Technologically advanced multi-purpose ink jet printer models today can do everything from printing to scanning to photocopying and faxing and even taking out the garbage (ok, we exaggerated a bit). But in short, one machine replaces the need to clutter up your home or office with multiple machines – all in all a great way to conserve space and save money. The HP OfficeJet collection is the ideal example of getting the best value for money. HP OfficeJet printers work together with OfficeJet inkjet cartridges that are perfect for keeping expenses low (you simply need to change a single colour if it finishes, NOT the whole ink cartridge). This helps keep efficiency levels high and printing expenses low. Inkjet printers operate on 3 basic coloured cartridges that mix together to give millions of different colour variations. These are cyan, yellow and magenta. Along with the colours, you’ve also got your standard black ink cartridge.  For instance, let’s say you own an HP OfficeJet inkjet printer (HP Officejet 6000, HP Officejet 6500, HP Officejet 7000, HP Officejet [...]

Do you have an HP OfficeJet printer? Looking for HP #920 C Ink Cartridges?

Printers just DON’T print anymore. Multifunction printers today print, scan, copy, fax and do more. The HP OfficeJet Series is the perfect example of this. HP OfficeJet printers work with individual OfficeJet ink cartridges that are great for keeping costs down (you only have to replace one color if it runs out, not the entire cartridge) keeping productivity levels high and printing costs low. Inkjet printers run on Cyan, Yellow, Magenta (ink cartridges for color printers) and the regular black cartridge.  For example, let’s say you own an OfficeJet printer model (Hp Officejet 6000, HP Officejet 6500, HP Officejet 7000, HP Officejet 6000 Wireless or the HP Officejet 6500 Wireless) and you run out of the HP #920 C (CH634AC#140) Ink Cartridge. You only need to replace that particular ink cartridge. Back in the day when all colors were built into one cartridge and only one ran out you ended up replacing the entire cartridge. This not only made you lose money but isn’t a sustainable use of resources. Ink cartridges like the HP #920 C Ink Cartridge are a recurring cost. Did you know that most large printer brands don’t make much on printer sales? Most printer manufacturers sell [...]

Doing Your Homework BEFORE Buying Ink or Toner for Your Printer

Replacing ink or toner is one of the highest ongoing costs of having a printer, and those costs can get pretty high if you print a lot.   Fortunately, the introduction of lower cost alternatives to buying the OEM’s brand has helped to defray the costs. When shopping around for ink or toner,   there are a couple of questions to ask in regards to the cartridges the company sells: How thoroughly does the company inspect the cartridges before refilling? Do they check for cracks and other defects? Do they test the electrical parts of the cartridge and make sure that any used or worn parts are replaced? These questions are important because buying a cartridge that has just been refilled but not checked for quality could end up leaking ink all over the inside of your printer, making the costs saved in buying the cartridges useless when it just cost you your printer! Understand that there is a difference between remanufactured ink or toner cartridges and refilled cartridges.  With remanufactured ink or toner cartridges a good reputable company will check each cartridge in detail, making sure everything is fine with the existing cartridge, no cracks, no worn out parts, no broken [...]

Buying Cheap Jet Ink Cartridges for Your Printer

Looking to buy jet ink cartridges at a reasonable price? Here are a few key factors to consider before you decide to buy. Know that there is a distinctive difference between “cheap” and cost-effective. Cheap might not always be the best as quality might be compromised so you actually end up spending more over time. One good example of this is refilled jet ink cartridges that are drilled and filled with ink and come with a cheap price tag but also a 40% failure rate which can damage your expensive printer. After you’ve left refilled jet ink cartridges out of the picture, your other cost-effective and reliable options are compatible and remanufactured jet ink cartridges. Compatible cartridges are manufactured by third-party manufacturers who market jet ink cartridges for various types of printer models. Hence if you buy a compatible cartridge, you must find one that is compatible with your printer. Remanufactured jet ink cartridges are recycled “original” OEM cartridges that have been disassembled, filled with fresh ink, put back together and quality tested for performance. Please note that only reputable ink and toner dealers will follow the above process stringently so make sure to do your research before you buy. [...]

Looking for a printer ink replacement for your printer? There’s more to it than you think.

If you are looking for ways to save money on printer ink replacement then you have more options now than ever before.  Instead of just buying OEM branded cartridges as your only choice, now there are remanufactured cartridges, refilled cartridges and compatibles, which are regular ink cartridges that are not from your printer’s manufacturer but will work on your brand of printer. The best way to find good deals on a printer ink replacement for your machine is to look online.  There are many retailers that sell good quality ink cartridges, and checking around to make sure you are buying from a company that is reputable, and that stands behind their products is very important. All of the major retail stores such as Office Max, Office Depot, Staples, etc. have printer ink replacements, but those are NOT your only choices.  There are less well known dealers that offer good prices and good quality BUT be sure to do your homework and find out all you can about the printer ink replacements they offer and how they are handled. Here are a couple of questions you can ask: Do they fix any used or worn parts of the ink cartridges before [...]
