Taking A Closer Look at Laser Toners

Ever wondered how the laser toners you buy for your laser printers actually work? Firstly, let’s get one thing clear – most people have the misconception that laser toners actually carry ink, just like ink cartridges. But this is false! Laser toners are filled with an extremely fine powder that is literally packed into the laser toner cartridge. Upon purchasing laser toners, first read your printer manufacturers instructions and make sure you insert the laser toner cartridge accordingly into your laser printer. Here’s how laser toners work. When you click “OK” to print a page this is generally what happens: 1. Your computer communicates with your printer and the printer receives an image from your computer. 2. Your image is now projected onto an electromagnetic drum by lasers (hence, laser printer!) 3.
